Endless Summer
Summer Tales is the name of the new shop fit-out, designed by Studiopepe for Spotti, in Viale Piave 27, Milan. A summer anthem that continues even into autumn 2010, with bright colours and unusual combinations, mixed with the most timeless winter elements such as the Emmemobili’s ebony and walnut furniture, and Ivano Redaelli’s beds and sofas made of leather and mud-coloured fabric.
The powder blue colour creates the perfect base to emphasize iconic colours as the ochre yellow and deep orange. Various historical pieces designed by Spotti have recently been exclusively reissued, for example the Lampe Gras (the lamp preferred by Le Corbusier and used on his work bench) and the Acapulco Chair, presented in total black to accentuate the graphical and rigorous coexistence existing within the more creative and unusual pieces.
