Pretziada is a creative practice, based in Sardinia, that promotes the territory's heritage through words, photography and a collection of design objects made with local artisans. Kyre Chenven, a native Californian, and Ivano Atzori, a native Milanese, moved to southwest Sardinia four years ago to work with artisans on the revival of local crafts. Sometimes they work directly with artisans, curating specific creations, while other pieces are the result of short trips they take with international creatives, introducing them to the island and its culture.

Description-
Part of the Accanta collection and created by Maddalena Casadei, this coffee table is inspired by the bankitu de ortigu, a sort of stool in compressed raw cork bark, left 100% natural without lacquer or paint. Casadei worked with Falegnameria Pisu, a family-run carpentry shop in Cagliari that created the blocks of extra-dense waste cork that the tables are made of. The name Accanta ("close" in Sardinian) refers both to the versatility of the pieces and to the presence of cork trees within the island landscape. Right of withdrawal not applicable.
