Astep is a brand of designer lamps and lighting systems. Founded by Alessandro Sarfatti, grandson of Gino Sarfatti, it is a company capable of looking to the future while respecting tradition and Made in Italy. The collection brings together the re-edition of the famous VV Cinquanta lamps designed in 1951 by Vittoriano Viganò, Gino Sarfatti's historic Modello 2065, and the innovative Candela by designer Francisco Gomez Paz.
Description-
Designed in 1951, the Model 548 is a table lamp designed by Gino Sarfatti. This lighting project plays on the reflection of light which is diffused by the internal spotlight which is directed towards a mirror screen. Methacrylate, an extremely innovative material for the time, is the protagonist. The result is a lamp with an original and balanced design, where contemporary elements are introduced such as the LED light source and the optical dimmer. Also available in other finishes.
