Angelo Mangiarotti
Born in Milan in 1921, Angelo Mangiarotti is an architect, sculptor and designer. In addition to his many architectural endeavors, Mangiarotti produced numerous creative projects, from sculpture to products and lighting. He believed that architecture was a practical discipline and that industrial design was an expression of high craftsmanship. Throughout his career, he taught at several schools of design and architecture in Italy and abroad. He won numerous awards in both design and architecture, and his work was included in exhibitions and collections at some of the world's leading art and design institutions, such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the Triennale Design Museum in Milan, and Gallery MA in Tokyo.
