BD Barcelona

Founded in 1972 by a group of young architects, BD had the intention of producing and marketing furniture and other objects. The idea was to produce both their own designs and those of the authors they admired, from Antoni Gaudí or Salvador Dalí to Ettore Sottsass or Alessandro Mendini. They were pioneers of design in Spain and obtained the recognition and admiration of professionals in the sector, who were looking for something different from what was on the market. Now close to turning 50, they continue with the same nonconformist spirit.
