Doshi Levien

Doshi Levien was born in 2000 from the collaboration of designers Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. They met for the first time at the Royal College of Art in London in 1995: she was born in Mumbai and raised in Delhi, nurturing a strong passion for craftsmanship, while he grew up in Scotland in close contact with the family industrial company. The studio is defined by the meeting of these two very different but at the same time complementary personalities: their portfolio is the result of an exchange of cultures, values, materials and production techniques. In the last twenty years the studio has collaborated with various brands such as Kettal, Cappellini, B&B Italia and Arper.
