Jean-Marie Massaud
Jean-Marie Massaud is a French designer, born in Toulouse in 1966. He began studying aerospace engineering, and then moved towards design. Graduated in 1990 from ENSCI - École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle, he began his career in Hong Kong, to then open his studio in Paris in 1996. In 2000 he founded Studio Massaud with the designer Marc Berthier and the architect Daniel Pouzet . He has taught at the DOMUS Academy in Milan and at the European Institute of Design in Turin. An integral part of his career is the attention to environmental sustainability, economic efficiency and collective and individual well-being: this is reflected in his projects, which are characterized by simple lines and the lightness of shapes. He collaborates with brands such as MDF Italia, B&B, Cassina, Cappellini and many others.
