Designed by Jean Prouvé in 1934, the Standard chair illustrates the engineering attitude of its creator. The back legs are the elements that support the person's upper part: for this reason, Prouvé chose voluminous back legs with hollow sections of metal and to use lightweight tubulars for the front legs. The result is a seat that has become a design icon, comfortable and suitable for any context. Right of withdrawal not applicable.
