Karen Chekerdjian
Karen Chekerdjian is a Lebanese designer. After graduating, she worked in both film and graphic design at Leo Burnett in Beirut. She moved to Milan in 1997 to obtain a master's degree in industrial design at the DOMUS Academy, under the guidance of Massimo Morozzi, with whom she continued to work at EDRA as artistic director until 2000. Since 2001 she has been back in Beirut, where she founded the Karen Chekerdjian Studio, characterized by the encounter between industrial design and Lebanese artisan techniques.
