Since its beginnings in 1966, Kettal has demonstrated an international vocation, focusing on design and innovation. In the early 2000s it acquired the Hugonet y Triconfort brands, and currently collaborates with leading international designers, including Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni, and Hella Jongerius. Kettal's goal is to create functional and expressive furniture that represents a contemporary culture and provides an answer to current living needs. True to the philosophy of environmental sustainability, it uses non-contaminating paints and the timbers used are protected by the Perhutani certificate.

Part of the Basket collection, Club Chair is the chair created in the 1950s by Danish designers Nanna and Jørgen Ditzel, reissued by Kettal. The outdoor version is made of artificial fiber and teak, but it is also available in the indoor version in oak and wicker.
