Max Lamb
Max Lamb is a British designer. Growing up in Cornwall, he has always had a strong passion for practical work and the use of materials. The objects he designs are mostly furniture, but he has also produced tableware and accessories in ceramic and marble. They are characterized by being tactile, reactive and the result of the reaction of the hand on the material. The prototypes are made in raw materials, such as plaster, then refined during the final process with very fine porcelain. His works are exhibited at the MoMa and at the Smithsonian Design Museum in New York, at the Design Museum in Ghent and many others.
