Monica Armani

Monica Armani, born in Trento in 1964, is an Italian designer and architect. She is the daughter of the architect Marcello Armani, exponent of the Italian Rational Movement. Her creations are characterized by the elegance of the forms, the functional vocation and the use of lighting. In 1996 she founded, together with Luca Dellabetta, Progetto 1, a self-produced collection that led her to her affirmation in the world of design. In 2007 she worked with the architect and designer Jean Nouvel on the project for the renovation of the former Cinema Excelsior in Milan, which has become a commercial area. She currently collaborates with various design brands including B&B, Cassina, Cappellini and many others.
