Nendo
Nendo, pseudonym of Oki Sato, was born in Toronto in 1977. He graduated from Waseda University in Tokyo in 2002, where he subsequently founded the Nendo studio, “clay” in Japanese: his projects, from architecture to design, are in fact characterized by the their plastic and sculptural vocation. The studio, which today has a team of forty designers and architects, has offices in Milan (since 2005) and Singapore (since 2012). He collaborates with many design brands, including Glas Italia, Fritz Hansen, Kartel and valerie_objects. His works are exhibited at the MoMa in New York, at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and at the Center Pompidou in Paris.
