Phantom Hands
Phantom Hands is based in Bangalore, India and produces handcrafted and designer contemporary furniture. The brand collaborates with furniture and textile designers to create collections that draw on India's heritage of craftsmanship and design. Their collections include re-editions of modernist classics and contemporary objects. The name "Phantom Hands" is a tribute to the legacy of the craftsmen of the past, whose contribution is manifested in every piece of furniture that is produced. After much thinking and investigating authorship and copyright claims, founders Aparna and Deepak took the plunge and opened a small workshop in Bangalore for making handcrafted furniture. Phantom Hands' first furniture collection, Project Chandigarh, was launched in May 2015.
