Since 1925 the Porro family has been running a company that combines traditional craftsmanship and today's most advanced production technologies. It stands out in the design scene for an immediately identifiable essential language, which prefers the simplification of signs, geometries, and shapes, without losing sight of, even in the most complex production processes, its own simplicity. The study of technological details, the selection of new essences and colors, and experiments with materials are conducted daily by the Porro Research and Development Center, which acts as an intermediary between the ideas of the designers and the problems of production, following the most technical aspects of each project.
