Description-
Before Zero is the first collection by Maria Paola Piras, presented exclusively by Pretziada. Having learned the practice of experimental archeology from her father, the craftsman Karmine Piras, Maria Paola is an expert in techniques that date back to Nuragic prehistory, reinterpreting the ancient models of Sardinian vases. Each shape is carefully created by hand with the coil technique and then fired in a red clay wood oven. Rather than using glazes, Piras polishes her pieces with stone (creating an almost metallic finish) or treats them with a series of waxes. Right of withdrawal not applicable.
