Riccardo Giovanetti
Riccardo Giovanetti was born in Milan in 1967. He attended the faculty of architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan, where he graduated in industrial design in 1992. His career began with collaborations with some newborn brands, especially in Italy and Japan. At the beginning of the new millennium, Giovinetti broadened his collaborations and began working as a designer for prestigious companies such as Cassina, Fast, Flou, Pallucco and Whirpool. He works as director of design and Armstrong, Bayer, Forbo and others, as well as organizer of temporary exhibitions in museums and galleries such as the Milan Triennale, the Danish Design Center in Copenhagen, the Living Design Center in Tokyo and the Musée Des Arts Décoratifs Paris. As an architect he has worked mainly in the private sector in Italy, France and Portugal. Today he is also a visiting professor at the Higher Institute of Architecture and Design at the Polytechnic School of Design in Milan.
