The Check cabinet is part of the homonymous collection designed by Elisa Ossino for SEM. The focus of the entire collection is based on textures and chromatic contrasts and is distinguished by the "check" of the surfaces, a dotted grid with a one millimeter thick line. Usually associated with the world of laminates, here the print reveals the grain of the wood. The same unexpected combination of material and finish can be found in the Bauhaus-inspired tubular iron structure, covered with a liquid rubber paint that softens its rigor. The black Valchromat profile accentuates the graphic aspect of the whole, recalling the two-dimensionality of a sketch. Contemporary, with a nostalgic soul, Check chooses a light and vibrant color palette, where the shades of gray are lit up by pink, red, sky blue and grass green. Right of withdrawal not applicable.
