The office of the future: the new NTT DATA Headquarters

Winner of the REAL ESTATE SPECIAL CONTEST award within THE PLAN AWARD 2021 for the 'Innovation and Design' category, the project NTT DATA Milan Headquarter tells through architecture a new industrial vision that embodies the company's values of innovation, research and sustainability.
The building, designed by CRM, is spread over 11 floors, where the interiors, designed by De Amicis Architetti, with the collaboration of Spotti, were designed to bring people together; environments capable of adapting and accommodating the new needs of employees and creating relationships.
"Each plan is designed to have its own specific identity, and it differs not only in layout but also in character and setting, becoming a chapter of a story that narrates the company's imagination made of a future tailored to people."
Taking care of the NTT DATA offices meant first of all reflecting on how people work now and how they will work in the future. The possibility of working remotely and with flexible times has in fact transformed the workplace into a space for relationships, opportunities and sharing where informal and meeting places are increasingly important.
Through the creation of fluid spaces within which workstations alternate with meeting rooms and lounge spaces, the NTT DATA offices prove to be the manifestation of a new way of approaching work. The buildings are equipped with photovoltaic panels for the production of solar electricity and also use electricity deriving 100% from renewable sources.
