Description-

Designed by GamFratesi for GUBI, the Doric coffee table takes its name from the Greek Doric architectural order. Simplicity, symmetry and sobriety characterize this table, where the carving present in each of the four legs is a real contemporary reinterpretation of the grooved details present in the Doric column. Right of withdrawal not applicable.

GUBI since its founding in 1967 has been involved in the design and development of iconic and timelessly designed products often reissuing past masterpieces that are often forgotten. Over the years the two founders, architects Gubi and Lisbeth Olsen, have created an extensive collection of furniture putting into production pieces of design history from the 1930s to the present. The intent is to produce and carry forward timeless design through guidelines such as innovation, functionality and quality.

Designer

GamFratesi

Studio GamFratesi was founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi, based in Copenhagen. Their work is based on the union of two different backgrounds that create a combination of traditional and innovative elements through an experimental approach of techniques and materials. The studio creates unique furniture expressed through a minimalist language, often representing stories, symbols and associations. They aim to design elements that illustrate the process and techniques that created them, exploring the two concepts of harmony and disharmony.
