Giopato & Coombes is a design lighting studio, founded by Cristiana Giopato and Christopher Coombes. The two met at Brunel University in London and opened the Giopato & Coombes studio in 2006, focusing exclusively on lighting since 2014. The aim of the studio is to create light sources that can evoke sensations and emotions in space: "Supernatural Daydream," a daydream that surpasses what is real.
Description-
Gem is a suspension lamp, made of lampblown glass, a typical technique of the Veneto region. The surface can be transparent or with a "corroded" finish, both in linear and group compositions. The glass gems are attached to a brass tube via buds which contain an LED light. Right of withdrawal not applicable.
