Giopato & Coombes is a design lighting studio, founded by Cristiana Giopato and Christopher Coombes. The two met at Brunel University in London and opened the Giopato & Coombes studio in 2006, focusing exclusively on lighting since 2014. The aim of the studio is to create light sources that can evoke sensations and emotions in space: "Supernatural Daydream," a daydream that surpasses what is real.
Description-
The Jewels collection is the result of the balance of the metal structure and the precious colored gems, which refer to the meticulous work of goldsmithing. The jewels are composed of different compositions of "precious stones": discs in rough worked brass, "gems" in blown Murano glass with a hammered finish and the cylindrical light source in brass.
