The Modo series was inspired by the kinds of ready-made, off-the-shelf parts that can be found at inexpensive lighting stores. Unlike those, however, Modo is painstakingly engineered and custom CNC-milled from solid aluminum. The spoke-and-hub system allows for dozens of configurations, making Modo as versatile as it is beautiful.
Roll & Hill
Roll & Hill collaborates with some of the best independent designers in the world, creating unique and timeless collections of lamps. Founded in 2010 by designer Jason Miller, the brand was born from the desire to work with the best creatives, offering an exclusive and small-scale production, more like a boutique studio than a large company. Roll & Hill's production is commissioned and personalized according to the needs of each customer. Each piece is hand-assembled at their headquarters in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
Jason Miller
Jason Miller is a renowned American industrial designer based in Brooklyn, New York, where he runs both the Jason Miller Studio and the high-end contemporary lighting brand Roll & Hill. Miller creates lighting, furnishings, accessories and interiors inspired by contemporary American culture, elevating the ordinary through rich materials and reinvented forms. His furniture, featuring intricate details, transcends time, capturing the luxurious qualities of traditional American aesthetics in a more modern design language.
