A sofa variant of the Nuvola armchair designed by Hannes Peer for SEM. Nuvola is a futuristic triple seat with a vintage flavor for a contemporary living room: the seats rotate on two axes so that it can work in any architectural context. The iron structure, with brass feet, has S-shaped profiles with dimensions reduced to a minimum. The shell pays homage to the work of Sergio Rodrigues and Percival Lafe, following in its shape the underlying metal structure, a detail that makes this piece of design unique and unmistakable. The sofa is constructed in such a way that the padding, in leather or fabric, deliberately exaggerated, seems to float in the air, the underlying structures remain hidden and entirely covered by the padding, which protrudes from all sides, as if it were a irrepressible voluptuous form.
