The wall lamp designed by Serge Mouille from the "Formes Noires" series is a reissue of a model designed in 1953. The black lacquered aluminum reflector with white interior and the black aluminum frame with brass joints testify to the high level of craftsmanship of this lamp. Available in other configurations, the lamp's elegant, soft shapes respect the original model. Light bulbs not included (E27 LED). Right of withdrawal not applicable.
Serge Mouille
Serge Mouille, born in Paris in 1922, was a French industrialist, silversmith and teacher. Best known as a modern lighting designer, his skilled metalworking is evident in all his creations. In 1941 he opened his own workshop, initially concentrating on designing handrails, sconces and chandeliers. In 1950, he began to devote himself to more complex works, floor and wall lamps. These works were inspired by female forms. Minimalist design is a hallmark of his style and the search for simplicity was his response against the design excesses of the time. His lamps soon became famous all over the world: they are timeless classic creations that are still contemporary and modern today.
