Astep is a brand of designer lamps and lighting systems. Founded by Alessandro Sarfatti, grandson of Gino Sarfatti, it is a company capable of looking to the future while respecting tradition and Made in Italy. The collection brings together the re-edition of the famous VV Cinquanta lamps designed in 1951 by Vittoriano Viganò, Gino Sarfatti's historic Modello 2065, and the innovative Candela by designer Francisco Gomez Paz.

The VV Cinquanta pendant lamp was designed in 1951 by the Italian architect Vittoriano Viganó. Elegant and versatile, this model consists of a double stem construction that exploits the principle of balance to give a dynamic luminous composition, where the adjustable reflectors also participate in the personalization of the light.
