Free System is a modular system of upholstered furniture designed by Claudio Salocchi in 1973, inspired by the tatami and the concept of "worked floor". Customizable in finishes and composition, it goes beyond the traditional idea of ​​a sofa, offering comfort and functionality through a versatile range of seats, backrests and tatami.

Claudio Salocchi
Claudio Salocchi was an Italian architect and designer, born in Milan in 1934, active mainly in the sixties and seventies. His career, which lasted more than fifty years, was based mostly on collaboration with companies born in that period, such as Serax. Since 1967 he was a member of the ADI, Association for Industrial Design, of which he was vice-president from the 80s until the early 90s. In the field of architecture he is remembered for his building redevelopment projects. He passed away in his hometown in 2012.
