Viggo Boesen

Viggo Boesen (1907–1985) was a Danish architect and designer, best known as one of the leading figures of the "Funkis" style, the Nordic interpretation of Art Deco. Active throughout the 1930s and 1940s, he created furniture with soft, organic forms, often crafted in rattan and designed to provide exceptional comfort. Today, his iconic designs are regarded as early expressions of Scandinavian modernism.
